A Harford County Car Accident Case We’ll Never Forget

Video Transcipt

Last year at about this time, we had a client who was operating an e-bike in a parking lot in Harford County, and a car came out of nowhere and hit him. Broke a bone in his leg, but he was young and, you know, with good doctors, he made a good recovery. But the challenges were everywhere. Maryland is one of four states in our country that have a law called contributory negligence.

What the approach was, quality, great medical providers, non-negotiable. Once we got past that, part of the strategy was to move a lot more efficiently than perhaps other law firms in moving this case to a resolution. So what we did was we filed suit quickly, and we put the insurance companies on their heels. Several months after we filed suit, which was only several months after the accident, maybe five or six months, they tendered their full policy limits of $250,000.
